  • Participate in pilot projects to extract value from customer datasets.
  • Data mining and Data exploration. Define business valuable use cases.
  • Answer customer problems. Provide mutually shared answer to a recognized problem, where the answer provides measurable improvement.
  • Define algorithms and product features that can be used to analyze real-time sensor data from industrial and consumer products verticals.
  • Collaborate with the Big Data platform team to architect and implement required infrastructure and tools.


  • In the progress of completing a BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, Statistics or other technical field;
  • 1+ years' experience doing data science/quantitative analysis will be considered as an asset;
  • Passionate about Big Data and its potential for the Industrial IoT: condition monitoring, anomaly detection, fault prediction, preventive maintenance, etc.



  • Programming experience in Python;
  • Excellent data mining skills;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and proven technical leadership;
  • Expertise in predictive analytics and machine learning: time series analysis, clustering and supervised learning;
  • Understanding of statistical analysis;
  • Has an eye for data visualization and can demonstrate creativity;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to identify and communicate data driven insights in a clear and effective manner;
  • Bilingualism (English and French).
